Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a motivated professional with a passion for comprehensive patient assessment, acute care management, and a commitment to improving health outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct follow-up visits and assess ongoing MS physical and mental health issues
Develop and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
Support patients with symptom management, medication guidance, lifestyle strategies, and mental health concerns
Provide clear, empathetic patient education
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
Collaborate with a supportive, tight-knit clinical team
Stay up to date with your education by continuing to read the latest data and alerting the team to newly published news
Educate the staff (most of whom would like to go on to be NP, PA, MD or DO) every Thursday afternoon
Present difficult cases at "Interesting Cases" conference in collaboration with the University of Colorado
Oversee the infusion staff (mostly EMTs) on infusion days
Monitoring our patient messaging app in the evenings and over the weekends
Provide clinic coverage when the physician is out of office
Assist in diagnostic evaluation by ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, medical imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
Manage follow-up patients as well as urgent patient visits
Perform procedures such as IVs and medication administration
Participate in clinical research trials focusing on MS or alternative treatment such as psychedelic research, contribute to data collection and analysis
Preferred experience with ketamine and/or psychedelic therapies (e.g., ketamine, ibogaine, psilocybin), with the opportunity to lead and direct the rollout of a new ketamine-based therapeutic program, contributing to clinical research, protocol development, patient selection, and evidence-based treatment delivery in collaboration with physicians.
Qualifications
Valid NP license in CO with prescribing authority and DEA license
Demonstrated experience with EMR systems PracticeFusion; proficiency in CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding and ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding including ICD-9 and ICD-10.
Psych, neuro, women's health, or geriatrics experience highly preferred.
Skilled in performing IV infusion
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology; ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
Experience administering injections, and working within HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy.
Experience with psychedelics for mental health, pain, or physical health
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on health coaching, pain management strategies, mobility issues, bowel & bladder dysfunction, and mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD

Schedule and Work environment
We have a beautiful 3300 SF class A office building and suite with oak floors, glass walls, a large infusion room consisting of 6 beautiful leather recliners, 2 private infusion suites, and 8 Zyno pumps
We have one provider, Susan Anzalone, M.D. who will oversee all work
Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekends and evenings are optional and would be eligible for overtime. No hospital call, nights or weekend work required.
Compensation and benefits
Compensation $120,000 - $150,000 a year
Full time employees are eligible for 401k with 3% match an eafter just 6 months of employment
