We are seeking a highly competent RN, paramedic or EMT‑IV who is detail‑oriented, personable, organized, and reliable to establish IVs, administer MS infusions, manage drug safety, and oversee daily operations of our 8‑chair infusion suite.

Overview
Small specialty neurology practice seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse (RN) to manage biologic infusion therapies in a patient-centered infusion suite. This role combines clinical infusion care, medication stewardship, and patient relationship building in a collaborative private practice environment.
Unlike large hospital infusion centers, this position emphasizes personalized patient care, careful medication management, and strong relationships with patients receiving long-term therapy.
Responsibilities
Infusion Therapy
Administer IV infusion therapies according to physician orders and manufacturer protocols
Use appropriate infusion tubing, filters, and equipment for each medication
Monitor patients during infusions and manage infusion reactions if they occur
Obtain and document vital signs before, during, and after infusions
Maintain accurate infusion documentation
Medication Management
Manage high-value biologic medications with strict attention to detail
Maintain medication refrigeration within required temperature range (2–8°C)
Monitor and document refrigerator temperatures
Perform daily medication counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Ensure proper medication storage and security
Medication Receiving and Inventory
Receive shipments from specialty pharmacies
Verify medications match orders and arrive appropriately cooled
Maintain medication inventory spreadsheets
Track medication lot numbers and expiration dates
Order infusion supplies and maintain adequate stock
Laboratory Collection
Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for shipment to reference laboratories including
Quest Diagnostics
Labcorp
Mayo Clinic Laboratories
Octave Bioscience
Patient Education and Support
Educate patients on medication risks, benefits, and side effects
Help patients understand insurance issues such as deductibles, copays, and financial assistance programs
Create a welcoming infusion environment where patients feel comfortable and supported
Scheduling and Patient Tracking
Maintain a spreadsheet tracking infusion dates and upcoming treatments
Monitor patients due for infusions and help ensure treatments occur on schedule
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Strong IV placement and venipuncture skills
Infusion experience preferred
Experience with biologics or specialty medications preferred
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Work Environment

Schedule
Full-time position.
Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
Valid EMT with IV certification in Colorado, or a valid RN license in Colorado
Valid BLS or ACLS certification in Colorado
Excellent IV and technical skills
Ability to draw blood, spin blood, and send to Quest or LabCorp
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an ER or ambulance setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to build rapport with patients and team members
Excellent computer skills including: typing, EMR usage, Excel, Google Sheets, Lynx Inventory System (we can train)
Schedule and Work environment
We have a beautiful 3300 SF class A office building and suite with oak floors, glass walls, a large infusion room consisting of 6 beautiful leather recliners, 2 private infusion suites, and 8 Zyno pumps
We have one provider, Susan Anzalone, MD who will oversee all work
You will be trained by our current lead infusionist, Jessie Kono, EMT-IV
Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekends and evenings are optional and would be eligible for overtime. No hospital call, nights or weekend work required.
Compensation and benefits
Hourly pay from $25-50 depending on experience
Full time employees are eligible for 401k with 3% match an eafter just 6 months of employment
